Easter 2025 - Jack Kaye, Birds and Shadow renew, Kites, Seeds and Easter Eggs!
On Easter Bank holiday Monday 2025, Ella Street joined together to unveil our new Jack Kaye tribute and revitalised Birds and Shadows installation.
The tribute was officially opened in front of a host of residents by our Chair. Gail Teasdale who gave the history of the Birds and Shadows installation and of Jack Kaye. Gail the introduced our guest of honour Beryl Burazin, Jack’s daughter.
Once the opening cermony was complete, we relocated to Jack Kayes field where we hosted a kite making and flying event along with a seed swap.
The day was completed with a Easter Egg hunt, starting at Jack Kayes walk with clues hidden along the street and eggs awarded to those who solved the puzzle.
